Chinese Held Up.
BY SPORTIVE YOUTHS.
Wellington, July 11
Two sturdy lads, Charles King and Frank Dean, aged 17 and 18, yesterday burst in upon three Chinese in their own hut at Paraparaumu, and demanded money at the end of a revolver. The Chinese fled in terror from the House, and the boys left soon after without having taken anything from the house.
The Chinese then chased the boys, King firing on the Chinese without doing any damage. The youths were subsequently arrested.
