A corner of the Horticultural Hall at Lower Hutt, last evening (24 November 1937), when an outstandingly successful dance, with lavish Oriental colouring, was held in aid of the fund to alleviate war distress in the Far East. The Consul-General for China, Mr. Feng Wang, and Mrs. Feng Wang and many other well-known residents of Wellington were present.
