Dear Sir:

     I beg to apply for permission for the Chinese Masons to walk in procession at noon on Saturday 10 Oct about two hundred strong from the present Hall, No. 81 Vivian Street, to the new Temple in Frederick Street.     

Also to fire certain sacred crackers on the vacant land adjoining the lodge.

     These crackers will be fired at midday and will not disturb the neighbours.     

     In the evening a banquet will be held to which the Governor, The Mayor, The Premier etc., will be invited and a large number of cars will be parked in Frederick Street.

Some days ago we wrote asking for permission to walk in procession about two hundred strong from 81 Vivian Street to Frederick Street, at noon on Saturday next. Also to let off a small quantity of fire works on a vacant section in Frederick Street.  

 Will you please forward us the necessary permission.

Dear Sirs.-

                                                                                Referring to your letter of the 21st ultimo.  I have to inform you that permission is granted for the Chinese Masons to march in the procession at noon on Saturday the 10th instant, from No 81 Vivian Street to the New Temple in Frederick Street, subject to the control of the Police.  Permission is also granted for a few small crackers to be fired on a vacant section adjoining the new temple in Frederick Street, subject to control of the Police.
