JOHN A. TONG, Manners street, Wellington, having accepted a contract from an Australian firm for the supply of

30,000 SACKS OF FUNGUS,

To be shipped therefrom to China, has much pleasure in informing country settlers, bush men, and others, that he is prepared to purchase, for cash, FUNGUS, in small or large quantities, at the rate of 6s per sack.

For this purpose Mr Tong will be happy to meet persons willing to supply the article, as follows;

Monday … Hutt Valley and Silver Stream

Tuesday ... North and South Makara

Wednesday … Johnsonville

Thursday … Porirua district, Brown's Hotel

Friday … Pahautanui, Blackie's Hotel

Sacks supplied at lowest rates.

Mr Tong will visit Picton and Taranaki, returning overland to Wellington, stopping at Patea, Wanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu, and other townships on the same business.
