The distinction of being the first Chinese girl in New Zealand to pass the senior elocution examination with honours has been won by Miss Daisy Kee-Sue, Woodville, who gained 95 per cent, in the Trinity College (London) examinations conducted at Palmerston North last month. Miss Kee-Sue, it is noted, is the possessor of a charming voice, admirable pronunciation, and clear articulation.[1]
