On 12 October 1894, the New Zealand Mail reports that Wing Kee was issued with his Letter of Naturalisation.[1]

A 1898 plan of Wellington shows Wing Kee as being located at around 30 Courtenay Place.[2]

On 6 November 1908, the New Zealand Times reported that Wing Kee, in Wellington, donated £1 1s to the funds of Wellington Hospital. It was noted that Chinese residents in Wellington had contributed a total of £111 8s. [3]
